Cas 70th Birthday

 
 
TO all her closest friends and fam bam… thank you for taking the effort to come look at this website dedicated to the old girl!
Firstly,
Cas, SPOILS us ALL, we all know it, we all appreciate it, but she never gives us a chance to spoil her! She really hasn’t ever spoilt herself. I spoke to her oldest friend Helen yesterday, she immediately was delighted that we were making an effort to create this surprise party for her. Her exact words were ”Carolyn has never done this for herself, never wanted anything that would create a fuss over her” . This kind of upset me, the woman that just lives to help and be so selfless would never expect such a kind gesture. It’s now time for us to take action and get her to her dream place BALI. CAS has forever wanted to go to Bali, its the one place I think has been eating her inside, because she’s read every book about Bali, but has never actually been.
We all know Cas is great at making excuses to look after herself, its herself and her health that dwindles in priorities and this is concerning, particularly as its now or never.. Cas loves a distraction project, and an excuse whether it be the ’grandchildren’, the ’children’, or her ’never-ending projects’. This is why we need to take matters into our own hands and collectively book her holiday away!
Rather than a present and more clutter of ”stuff” (in her terms), I think whatever you want to donate to the wishing well to get her on her journey to her dream destination would be the best present of all!
If we can just get her over there, into a retreat for 7/10 days and then leave her to her own devices to explore and engross into the beautiful gardens and architecture of this phenomenal island for the remainder period, I think this truly could be the gift of a lifetime, and the spoiling that she truly deserves from all of us!
