Loving Gift for Amanda Thompson

In 1959 we were blessed with the arrival of the charismatic and kind-hearted Amanda Thompson.Her positive spirit and empathy towards others has seen her beautifully transform into a devoted mum of 3 daughters,                                        supportive teacher, remarkable co-worker, in addition to an active and compassionate member in her local community.This wishing well aims to inspire anyone who has been touched by Amanda’s warmth and kindness to come together and thank her in a very special way. The aim is to raise $5,000 to book a travel package for Amanda to visit one of her dream destinations – Africa or Greece. Throughout the years she has drawn on her imagination and inner strength to help people overcome their challenges as well as her own.                  Below are a few examples and I invite you to share more:o   Keeping her family spirits high whilst rebuilding her home after her house was destroyed in the 2007 Newcastle flood.o   Helping to organize care packages for one daughter who also lost her home to fire.o   Caring for another daughter whilst also helping her manage a business following a life changing car accident.o   Supporting a third daughter’s relocation in pursuit of her dreams in the face of financial adversity.o   Providing regular care and ongoing laughs for 90+ year old step-father.o   Engaging a student to the delight of their family during a time that would later be known as their final days.o   Fostering a supportive and socially engaged neighbourhood, offering assistance where possible (often with a cup of tea). As the best time to travel to these destinations is May-June-Oct, the wishing well continue over Christmas and lead up to her Birthday for those who wish to contribute sporadically when and where they can,  or more than once for both celebratory occasions. It will be easy for you to have a great impact on Amanda’s dreams by helping them become a well-deserved reality.                                                        Simply contribute what you can when you can, and be sure to leave a loving message for Amanda to know who to give her return thanks to. Warm RegardsHayley JayAmanda’s Eldest Daughter
