Welcome To Our Wishing Well

Dear beloved friends and family, If you are reading this, we would like nothing more than to have you share our special day with us. Wedding presents can be a tricky, and there is never a polite way to to say "Wow! As decade-long wine drinkers, those glasses are exactly what we need!" Of course, we do appreciate the time, effort and money put into all kinds of gifts. However, we believe it may be a more meaningful process to have you directly involved in raising funds for us to go on a honeymoon, and then to have a baby. We know that traditionally, asking for monetary gifts is considered uncouth, and that’s partly why we wanted to use this platform – so that we could all come together and help realise the goals most important to us. We are wanting to go on a beautiful week-long getaway (somewhere tropical and hot) later in the year, and are hoping to start the magical journey of pregnancy in the next 1-2 years! As important and desirable as these milestones may be, there are significant funds associated with both – especially as a same-sex couple. If we were to receive any bit of help from you loving people, it would be life changing – truly! Fortunately for us, the online registry option allows us to collect wishing well contributions directly, as they are transferred immediately into a bank account under our names. Each and every one of you has impacted our lives in a unique, dynamic and tangible way; and you have been catalysts in the development of who we are as people. Admittedly, this may have been directly or indirectly, over a few months or a few years; in whatever way, your impact has been significant and we are infinitely grateful.
