Wow – What a proposal! That was July 29th last year. I’m entirely familiar with the concept of being a Fiancée now. This is an inspiring, rewarding and enriching time for us. We both hope you’ll join us in celebrating this milestone at our Engagement Party, Thorndon Park in Paradise, Adelaide.
Christopher is busy playing computer games right now so I can get away with typing ANYTHING I want – Muahahaha! That being said, isn’t he handsome? And Smart? And incredibly darling? I think so (he’s going to be so embarrassed when he reads this).
Okay, the deal with gifts…well, we already live together and have a house full of necessities. Gifts, therefore, aren’t a high priority for us. Nonetheless, we do dream that our Wedding Day will add to our foundations of understanding, appreciation, and connection to each other, our families, and communities. This is a foundation we are committed to nurturing so that it can strengthen over time and see us through some fifty-plus years of marriage.
If you’d like to be a part of the fruition of this dream day (dream fifty-years really), we would very much appreciate a contribution to our Wedding Fund. You will be helping us to not only have the big day we’ve both been waiting for (foreverrrrrr!) but to build the foundations of a lifetime of love.
