Please don’t feel any pressure to bring gifts – we would love to have you just come and celebrate with us! If, however, you would like to bring a gift we would love your help getting ready for our little one.
Our house is not huge and we don’t yet know the gender of our baby so we’re really focussing on collecting the essentials and consumables as we prepare for their arrival. We’re aiming for a natural and neutral colour scheme for our baby things and have a bit of a woodland animal theme for the baby room. We love fun, cute things BUT we already have far too many and our baby doesn’t need more toys, nick nacks or stuffed animals!
Here’s a quick guide to the kinds of things that would be most helpful to us…
– Something off our registry
– Great books – we’re never going to be minimalists when it comes to books!
– Essentials – clothes for the first year, bibs, swaddles, sleeping sacks, cot sheets etc.
– Consumables – nappies, nappy cream, baby toiletries etc.
This website also provides the option of contributing financially towards one of the larger items if that would suit you best 🙂
