After years of being nomads, we are settling down in the “big city” (aka Brisbane, AU)! Sam is working full-time as an assistant surveyor and I am about to enter back into the world of academia, meaning we will be in Oz for at least the next 4 years while I pursue my PhD studying humpback whale hearing and behavior.
As most of you all know, Sam and I have been living out of suitcases for years, so therefore we own very little and while we are extremely excited to move into our new apartment in December, we are also being confronted by our general lack of STUFF. Please do not feel obligated to buy us anything, but we have both had many people in our lives who have approached us asking to buy us belated wedding gifts or housewarming gifts, but until now, we really didn’t need “things”. But now we need all of the things. So if you are someone who has been itching to shower us in gifts, we put together this registry so that you can do just that! Anything helps, but nothing is expected. We love you and are so excited that we will soon have a home to host family and friends at. Know that if you are in Brisbane (either permanently or just on holiday) you are always welcome to pop in for a drink or dinner or a longer stay—we have an air mattress on this registry…
