Thank you for being a part of our preparations to welcome Eliza’s little baby into the world!
We – Eliza’s family and friends – are gathering ideas to support Eliza in her pregnancy and as she begins parenting her little darling.
Some of us are gathering in person on Saturday 14 June 2025 at our farm in the Indigo Valley.
We know that others who aren’t able to join us in person, continue to support and connect with Eliza in other ways.
Here are a few ways you can support Eliza.
1. Perhaps you can add some music or songs to our dedicated “Make Way for Duckling” Spotify playlist?
2. We are developing a list of ways we can support Eliza using the ‘Gather My Crew’ app. Perhaps you can join us there and keep an eye out for ways you can help. For example gifts of food that can be frozen and reheated in the first few months will be gratefully received at any time.
3. Baby stuff. Thanks to the big hearted generosity of her friends, Eliza has been lent a bassinet, cot, change table, baby carrier (wrap and Baby Bjorn one), nursing chair, pram, travel pram and portacot, and assorted baby clothes. Maybe you have something that helped you while you were parenting which you can pass on? For those asking for suggestions, we are developing a list of items that she thinks she may need (see below). Baby Book
A lovely memory book to capture the magic moments of the baby's first year. Can be a guided journal but with plenty of room for freestyle observations, photos, personal notes and mementos.
