Jenny’s 60th Birthday Getaway

As many of you know, Mum always gives and gives and gives and takes very little for herself, so for her 60th this year, we are hoping to give something back to her as a surprise. As we all know, life is busy and with one of us with a big family and the other interstate, we get very little time alone with Mum. So we are looking at taking her out to the Adelaide Hills for a weekend in the next few months, whenever the dates line up, for some invaluable mother/daughter time. We were thinking something along the lines of:
Two nights Accommodation somewhere beautiful in the Adelaide Hills (Mt Lofty House or similar, happy to take recommendations though!)
A winery tour;
Some spa treatments either at Mt Lofty House or nearby Endota;
A cooking morning or afternoon at
Please note that all money contributed will go towards Mum’s share of everything – we will both pay our own way separately. Ideally she will be paying for nothing all weekend and if there is any money left over, we will take her shopping! Once we have booked we will share our final itinerary with you all and also share photos from the weekend when it happens.
As noted above, happy to take any ideas anyone might have, as we won’t book until after we have given her the present and will depend on availability etc and we are really looking to make it a super special weekend for her and one of very few opportunities for a trip for just the 3 of us.
Any contribution will be most gratefully received but if you have your own gift you want to give please feel free! This is a great opportunity for anyone who is unsure of what to give and who wants to share in a special weekend for Mum.
