You are under no obligations to get us any present (especially if you have already given us items). We would just love your presence.
However, if you are keen to give us something, here is a guide to gifts that Graham and Helen would love to receive for their new baby. (We already have a cot, baby bath and a few other items.) Alternative brands or secondhand versions are more than welcome (if clean and in good condition). Also feel free to chip in together if you want. We’re really not into the most popular brands and the most expensive items so please don’t push to get those types of items unless you absolutely must.
Pram hooks, clips and accessories
Any kind of pram accessories that yoy think might be worthwhile. This one idea is from Wish.com
A foldable cot we can take with us for travelling or visiting others. This one was from Dick Smith but there are many more types.
Video baby monitor. This one is from wish.com but really happy with anything.
Really unsure about which kind. Happy for anything at this stage.
Really happy with anything practical and with plenty of pockets. Here's one from wish.com to give you an idea.
Baby memory book
A book to write baby's firsts a nd memories for the first year or so. This one was from Etsy but happy with anything.
A chair to help rock baby to sleep. This is just one example found on ebay. But also happy with secondhand or cheaper versions.
A mobile to hang over bed and help baby get to sleep. This version is from Myer but happy with anything cute or even weirdly sci-fi related. Like Star Wars or Doctor Who.
We don't have many baby books yet so anything is good. Happy with secondhand and odd stories as well as classics and fairytales. This example is from Booktopia.
This is just one example of soft baby toys. We have next to nothing yet so happy with anything clean and in good condition.
This is a portable play mat that can be gathered for easy transportation. Also happy with a mat just for baby belly time.
Baby proof items for furniture
This could be anything from electric socket covers to corner covers.
Bath toys and scrubbers
Any bath accessories that could be useful or fun. We have a bath and newborn bath seat already but no bath toys, soap or washers. This example was from catch.com.au.
This is a version of a caddy to organise nappies, towels, wipes etc for the nursery. This version is from wish.com
Preferably an electric breast pump. Easy to clean would be good. This one was from Big W.
