Talicia & Joji’s Baby Blessing

You are invited to the Baby Blessing of Joji & Talicia’s 3rd baby 👶🏾.

We have not found out the sex of this baby as we wanted to keep it a surprise 3rd time round which we are so excited about ✨

This Baby Blessing will be like a ceremony & celebration of motherhood & with a core focus on being a women, our connection to culture, the sacredness of carrying a baby, pregnancy & birth.

At this ceremony there will be:
~ A time of empowerment from elders about womanhood & motherhood & storytelling about birthing on country stories, birthing pre colonisation
~ Insight will be shared about my families journey to making the decision of a home birth, the first 40 days post partum & the sacredness & importance of supporting mothers during this vital time of repair, rest & rejuvenation
~ A time of breath work & yoga/stretching/relaxation
~ A time of silence & recording of affirmations/letters for the expecting mother to have on the birth wall where I will be having baby
~ Indigenous craft
~ Prayer & Blessing for baby

I’m so excited about this ceremony as it will not be like a typical baby shower, it will be focused more on the internal work that goes into pregnancy & motherhood.

If you are wanting to contribute a gift I will be posting some practical items that we as a family are being intentional about that will support our family during this time of expansion.

We will also be served with beautiful grazing boards created by my sister girl who has just started her brand new grazing business D&J Grazing & special dietary requirements will be taken into consideration 🤍.
